Dear God,

You have filled me with great joy each early morning as I sit by the Christmas tree reading my daily devotions.  To sit with biblical and gospel writers, St. Theresa of Liseux, spiritual women, and others, I feel so full as I offer my morning prayers.  I feel blessed and open to the fresh new day.

I have so much to learn from others who have been on the pilgrim journey much longer than I.  I need their insight and wisdom, challenge and correction, as well as their grace, hope, and faith.  Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by the love they exude through their writings.
