Dear God,

Three people who are all dear to me are recovering from surgery, my daughter, my husband and my colleague.  All had surgery in the last few days.  All were in different hospitals, had different procedures and different doctors.  But what came to me is this:  All are healing because your hands are on them.

Healing only happens because you will it.  Doctors, technicians, nurses, pharmacists and therapists do their part but only you can knit human tissue together.  Only you can heal.  Only you can make us whole.

This great mystery is a wonder to me.  Medical professionals do all in their power to make us better but even they have to trust in you to do the ultimate healing. Praise to you, God Most High.
