Dear God,

My, how we forget you have given us power from on high.  We forget you have promised your presence to be with us.  We forget courage is forged by faith and faith is always with us even when it is just a tiny seed.  We often carry forth in weakness because we have forgotten.

However, when we trust you to guide us or to help us, we can move mountains of doubt, fear and anxiety.  We can do the impossible.  We can do because you are our strength in weakness.  So many, many times you have enabled us to do what we thought we simply could not do.  Often we forget to thank you, to let our gratitude spill out in praise.

As I consider the ways your strength has been my strength of late, I am humbled by such love and tender care.  I thank you, Lord, I thank you with all my heart.

to return
to you
