Dear God,

You are God; there is none like you!  As I continued to wait to see if the chipmunk would race to the food I left in the bait tray in the catch and release cage, I had to wait patiently knowing the animal was running wild in my home.  Although it has probably been there for several days, I only arrived yesterday.  I found myself so frustrated and angry.  I had to lean on you for calm and you were graciously present.

O Lord,
how can
I ever
thank you
for all
your generous gifts?
How can
I ever
repay you
for undeserved grace?
How can
I love you enough?
