Dear God,

What joy floods my soul when I sit with you!  I feel all the comfort of heaven.  My thirst is quenched.  My soul is full of spiritual food.  I know I am the recipient of great grace.

Years ago you called me to this special time.  I wandered, tossed up prayer carelessly and failed to set aside time.  You were persistent; you called and called again until I was given the renewal time and my whole life changed.  I was reoriented, focused.  You, it was you, I was grateful to.  It was you who made it happen.  It was you who blessed me.  I take no credit.  It was you, Holy God.

No one blesses
like you,
Loving God.
No one calls
like you,
Hope of the World.
No one lights
the way
like you,
Light of the World,
thank you,
Blessed God,
thank you.
