Dear God,

The carpenter whistled Amazing Grace as he worked.  The sound of his voice, his love and his devotion were apparent as he worked on the spiritual hermitage.  It was yet another reminder that this is your work, your vision and your desire.

I watched as the stone was put down and the foundation laid and the walls and finally as the roof was nailed down.  I kept thinking of all those who will come and benefit from the spiritual refuge it will offer.  This is your home, I kept thinking, this is your dwelling place!

to your service.
You bless us
in our work.
You love us
as we labor
in your name.
