Dear God,

This morning I sat with my spiritual circle of friends on my patio.  Some were saints from very long ago.  Some were more recent and some live today.  They all had something to say as I read my devotions and listened to their stories of faith.

As we sat together we also heard the bird songs, so many and so beautiful.  The trees and flowers danced in the gentle breeze.  The sun rose shining its rays across my face warming my heart toward our creator.  And I thought..."Does it get any better than this?"

You are Lord;
there is none
like you.
Thank you
for my
circle of friends
and for
all the birds
who sing
your praise.
Thank you
for the
gentle breeze
of your spirit
that blows
upon all of us.
