Dear God,

A storm came bringing inches of snow.  I loved every flake but today a new front was predicted to bring warmer weather.  My dream of a white Christmas will melt away; yet, Christmas will still be here.

In season and out, you call us to remain steady, to be at peace, to adjust and shift when the call comes to change. Yet, in the midst of it all, you remain as God.

I feel the Advent anticipation and I revel in it, Holy One.  Keep my eyes fixed on you, I pray.

Thank you
for reminding us
all things change.
Thank you
for the invitation
to change
with it.
I am changed
because I
know you.

Love, Andrea
