Dear God,

While things grow darker in our world with over 50,000 people dead from the virus, spring time grows more beautiful, greener and spectacular.  It is as if we are being forced to look daily at new life, resurrection and vibrant colors rising out of the bleak winter dark.  You are calling us to have hope in the light, resurrection and daily rhythms of sun, moon and sky.

As we grapple with anxiety, fear and concern, the sights and scenes of extravagant beauty outside our home windows provide us with joy and gratitude.  That joy and gratitude spreads to strength and courage which all lead us to peace and comfort.

Wondrous Creator.
Thank you
for the hope
it brings.
Thank you
for turning
our heads
to your
creative work
in the cosmos.
Teach us
to trust you
in all things.
