Dearest God,

How we long for your presence.  How hungry we are for your words of encouragement.  How fearful we feel during this horrific time of pandemic.

And yet the birds still sing.  The grass continues to green up.  The flowers are blooming.  Beauty is popping up all around.  Signs of your dwelling in this sad and sorrowing land are evident all around.  How can we keep from singing and praising even as we weep and are downhearted?

Loving God,
you bless us abundantly.
You give us
what we need
not only
to endure
but thrive.
Our weakness
gives way
to your strength
as we trust
and operate
from faith.
You are God;
we are
your children,
blessed by love.

Forever yours, Andrea
