 Dear God,

Why do you give so many gifts?  Why do you bless us in so many ways?  Why do you keep us together always nudging us to grow and give and share and remember and bless?

Our covenant group has been together every Wednesday since 1988.  We have melded our faith, love and ministry together.  We can count the ways you have taught, corrected, converted, challenged and loved us.  Why we four, why not another? Why keep us coming back?  Why give us so much? We ask ourselves these questions periodically because we know how blessed we are to be wed together by your hand.

You have created us for you, O Lord; you have made us your own.  You have given us each other to learn life lessons, to transform us and teach us your way and your will.  We are blessed because you are our blessing.

Holy God,

we lift

our hands 

in holy devotion.

Shape us

to be

fully and 

truly yours.

Blend our hearts,

minds and souls

to become one

with you.
