Dear God,

When our hands cannot embrace our loved ones because we are far away, you enfold them in your love through trust, prayer and confidence.

There are so many things we do not fully understand.  We do not fully understand faith and all its dimensions.  We do not fully understand the power of prayer.  We do not fully understand you; yet, we have these moments, holy moments when we cross an invisible line and enter a world beyond our own dimensions.  We discover things anew, find answers and grab hold of hope, love and joy.

This is the way you designed life, Holy One.  You want us to connect with you and each other.  You want us to live in your love first and then share that love with others.  When we cannot reach our loved ones by conventional ways, you give us the simple avenue of faith and prayer and somehow, some way we find each other.

Loving God,

thank you enough

for faith?

How can

we ever express

our feelings

of gratitude

and joy?

You are God;

there is

no God

like you.
