Dear God,

What power you have to change the human heart, mind and soul!  This morning is yet another example of your transforming power.

This morning I had a heavy heart as I gathered for worship with Good Samaritan believers.  The sermon message opened my mind so my heart would have access to your loving power.  It was when the musician simply played the guitar that I heard your word.  I sang the words..."I have decided to follow Jesus."  Yes, the heaviness of my heart was softened and lifted by making that decision again today.

Every day, many times a day you invite us to say the words, "I have decided to follow you.  I have decided to follow you.  I have decided to follow you."  My decision changes me because you have the power of your spirit working within me.  This day, this morning your power changed me.

Holy God,

you are

the power

in my life.

Your desire

for me

is always greater

than my own.

Teach me

to trust you

again and again.

Change me,

change us,

all of us,

O Lord,

for we

need changing.

We need transformation.

Transform me,

transform us,

all of us.
