Dear God,

Another airliner has gone into the sea.  It appears all 62 aboard perished.  O God, please comfort your brokenhearted children.  Ease their suffering.  Hold them fast in the palm of your hand.

Indonesia has had more than their fair share of suffering.  Today families, friends, neighbors, co-workers and strangers are weeping.  Their pain is deep.  

O God of deep pain, 

bless all

your children

who weep.

Pour into them

your merciful comfort.

glorious mercy

and compassion.
