Dear God,

Today I just want to be close to you, Lord.  I just want to rest in your divine presence.  I want to feel your love, your warmth and your peace.  I need you.

In troubled times we search where to go, to whom we might find what we need.  Friends and family can do only so much because the peace we need is the deep kind of peace only you provide, the kind that goes down deep into the cellular level into our DNA.  Only that kind of peace can quiet our minds, still our souls and give rest to our weary bodies.

for the gift

of your

living presence.

Thank you

for faith

that open

the doors

and windows

of our

whole being.

Only there

can we

search and find.
