Dearest God,
Joy welled up within me as I sat at the picnic table on the lawn beside the ocean in Biddeford Pool, Maine. I was drawn to the scene before me of a single sailing boat out just a few hundred yards. The wind was breezy and the boat sailed along, sometimes leaning left and then right. But one thing was for sure, the boat was dead in the water without the perfect wind.
That boat circled my mind back to you. For we are exactly like the sailing ship that sails along with your spirit wind and stops dead center without it. With you we can face every challenge by allowing your spirit breath to be our guide, strength and power. We can take the chosen paths as you lay open the possibilities. When we do, so much wonderment unfolds before us. What we are left with it praise and gratitude, praise and gratitude, praise and gratitude.
Thank you,
Spirit God,
for the wind
that guides us.
Thank you
for faith
that makes us aware.
Thank you
for breathing
on me.
Love, Andrea
