Dear God,

I am not always a good listener.  I like to speak.  Yet, one of the many callings of my life is to listen.  Nature is always calling me out.

This morning I awoke at 4:26 a.m.  With an open window just above my head, I heard an orchestra of sound.  A variety of birds were singing.  It was an invitation to listen and then to join them in singing your praise.

for the

this morning.

Thank you

for the birds.

Thank you

for reminding me

to listen more

and speak less.

Then when

I receive

your message

to sing

your praise.
