Dear God,

How did hatred enter into our minds, hearts and souls where love used to reside?  How did it happen, Good Lord?  How did it slowly slip away?

There is so much reason for anger and bitterness!  Innocent lives are being snuffed out.  We are so blinded by injustice, pain and suffering.  We cannot see our way clear, Heavenly Father.  We need you; we need you; we need you!

Sever the cord

of hatred

in us,

O God.

Let the pus

of sin,

injustice

and bitterness go.

Heal us,

all of us,

O God, 

all of us,

we pray.
