Dear God,

The word "conversion" came to mind today.  Conversion:  to be changed, altered, transformed, is really a wonderful image of how life can become more than it is at this moment.  So much needs to be converted in today's world, Loving God, including every human on the planet.  Dark thoughts can be filled with light, despair can be cut and pasted with hope and chaos can become peace when conversion takes place.

Even in this moment, I know what needs alteration in my own life and I can only know this because you bring it to mind.  You know conversion can change me, us and the whole world for the better.  When we open ourselves to your converting power, anything can be possible.  Anything, even the seemingly impossible.

Thank you,

for change,

conversion and transformation.

You know more

than all

of us

what we need

to be who

we need

to become.

Help us,

O God,

because we

do not have

the power

to convert ourselves.

Change us,

we pray.
