Dear God,

Every avenue of life is a doorway to God.  Nature opens the door.  Relationships open the door.  Losses open the door.  No matter what happens to us, the door to the divine is opened.

We often think Sunday morning worship is the only door to you, God Most High, but it is not true.  Whether we face sorrow or celebration, the door creaks open to you.  We have access to you 24/7.  When you promised to be with us always, you meant it.  We may not always feel close but the truth is we are.

So, if we anticipate open doors all day long every day, we can function to walk with you daily, converse with you, skip, sing and dance with you.  

Holy, holy, holy

are you,

God of Great Love.

for inviting us in

to dwell.

Thank you

for the welcome,

the love,

the assurance.

You are God;

there is none

like you.
