Dear God,

When a world is turned upside down by chaos, conflict, hatred, lies and threats, it is hard to navigate such waters.  What we used to rely on to help us through life doesn't seem to work the same way.  We falter and fall not even sure whether to pick ourselves up and walk again.  It is painful, difficult and frustrating.

What do we do, Lord?  Do we try to upright the world in the same, old way?  Or do we do something different?  It seems we cannot go back to the way we were.  Present circumstances offer a new way, untried opportunities to create a new world, a fresh new way opening the door for mercy, love and hope.  We are desperate for this new world, dear God; please help us.

Hold us tight,

dear Father,

open the way

for a

new way.

Lead us,

Holy God,

to a

beautiful world

where all

are welcome

to join,

where all

are loved

and honored.

Show us

the way,

dear God,

show us

the way,

please.
