Dear God,

Today has been a truly quiet day.  With everyone gone, I am here alone.  I just realized it has been a good day to be by myself but not really because you are here with me.  I am never alone.

There is something so important, so comforting, so healing about being alone with you.  I can hear you better.  I can see you better.  I can breathe better.  How precious it is to be in your presence, O God, because in your living presence, everything is better.

Reveal yourself

to me,

I pray,

O Lord.

I always

want to 

know you better.

In knowing you,

I come

to know me better.
