Dear God,

A few days ago I traveled on two airplanes taking me from Indiana to Maine.  Because of storm fronts, we literally rocked and rolled in the sky.  My hands trembled, my heart picked up its pace and my head swirled with fear and faith battling for control.  I breathed prayers over and over again, the one being the most significant when I murmured, "All this is yours, O God, the clouds, the rain, the lightning, the ground, the earth and the storm."  There was something about my prayer that calmed my inner soul.

I learned once again that everything is in your hands.  There is nothing beyond your control.  Truly, all is yours.  When we recognize your living presence, we are once again reminded of faith that sustains, comforts and reassures.

I am
so grateful,
Holy God,
for your
loving existence.
Thank you
for holding
an airplane
in the sky.
Thank you
for blessing us
beyond belief.

Yours, Andrea
