Dear God,

I am sitting in the midst of Christmas and winter fabric.  Scenes of nativities, snowmen, reindeer, poinsettias and gingerbread cookies, just to name a few, thrill my soul.  Right now, each colorful fabric is nothing more than cotton yardage but soon they will be Christmas bags, stockings, coasters, ornaments and fabric chains.  They will each adorn Christmas trees, entryways, mantles, doorknobs and wall hangings.  They will go from ordinary to extraordinary to bless those who love them.

I love creating.  My ideas are never my own; they come from you, from heaven's own artistic design department.  What fun it is to partner with you and make items of joy for others! 

Ever-Creating God,

thank you

for the

wondrous gifts

of your spirit.

Just like when

the void appeared

and then

the creation 

opened up,

creating today

makes new things

of your spirit.

where all

good things

come from.
