Dear God,

We do not have to call out to you and then wait for you to come.  Why?  Because you planted yourself in each one of us from the beginning.  You are already with us before we call.  How do I know this?  It does not make sense that the God who created us out of beauty and love would abandon us.  This kind of divine love does not just disappear.  This deep, abiding love is eternal, existing for all time.

I have to remind myself that your love is enough for me.  When I feel abandoned by those I love, I feel lonely and sad.  But then I remember the truth of your love and I am energized by that which is deeper than my sadness and loneliness.  I remember this gracious love and I am buoyed up with hope and peace.

for giving us yourself.

for abiding 

with us always.

Thank you too

for the reminders

of the constancy

of your 

loving presence.
