Dear God,

I had to pull off my filthy clothes from crawling in the dirt in the garden to shower and get to church to help film the life of your son.  Working to create a modern-day scene of your life among today's people has been inspiring, enlightening, and meaningful.  Although I can only depict your ministry through my own experience of faith, still I am challenged to unfold and reveal a refreshing new look at Jesus right where we are.  We dare not forget our history, the truth, and the life that daily transforms us.

As I stage each scene, I think of you, your thoughts, your dreams, and your hopes for earth's people.  I think of your love and the ways it touches us.  I think of your grace and how unconditional love can help to change  our world making it into a better place for all people.  I think of your relationship to each one of us.  Although we come from various walks of life, cultures, backgrounds, and theological understandings I believe your life stands out as one to help turn us upside down ridding us of our own emotional and psychological debris so that our way is made clear to walk with you.  I believe what you have to offer is the gift of life.  No other god can do what you can do.

Holy God,
who instills faith
within us,
teach us
more and more
about you.
Show us
the way
to goodness
and holy living.
Give us
the tools
to help us
so we
may show others
the path
to faith.

Love, Andrea
