Dear God,
A few days ago Harold and I sat on the patio getting ready to have breakfast. I began the prayer by quoting favorite psalms. "Sing to the Lord a new song", I said as we prayed together our open-eyed prayer. Harold paused and then prayed, "Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." As we declared our Amen, we both drank in the air of your peace.
Heavenly Father,
thank you
for your word
that increases faith,
challenges fear,
and shows
great love.
We are grateful
to be beneficiaries
of your
tender mercy.
Love, Andrea
