Dear God,

I returned to my tent this afternoon, crawled inside my sleeping bag, and slept like a baby for nearly three hours.  I've been tired for months and I was just too tired to do anything else but I wanted to be outside, to breathe in the fall air, to feel the crisp Autumn weather, and to listen to the gentle rain fall upon the tent.  It was sublime!

Every day you open doors to meaningful experiences.  It may be a dialogue with a family member or friend. It may be an opening to heaven, an encounter with you regarding something on our mind.  It may the scene of a sunrise or sunset or a scene of falling leaves.  It may be the taste of pure water or a delicious homemade apple pie.  It could be sliding into a freshly made bed at nighttime or waking up to sunshine pouring through the bedroom window.  Almost anything can be a meaningful experience if we look at it through the eyes of faith.

As I ponder my many blessings, my relationship to you is right up at the top and I am very deeply grateful.

Thank you
for allowing me
to share
a relationship
with you.
Thank you
for all
that means.
Thank you
for blessing me
every day.
Help me be
a blessing
to others,
I pray.

Love, Andrea
