Dear God,

Your church is full of grace when you offer us prayer, hymns, heavenly anthems, scripture, and blessing. When we sit in an edifice dedicated to you and hear words of faith from those who have gathered for the purpose of worship, we are blessed with your grace even if we don't know it.  A heart stirring, a moment of truth, an inspiration, an insight of hope, and peace that settles in our heart are all moments of grace.

Tonight we sat in a great church that boasts having more than 1,000 crosses.  Surrounded with that much love, I could not help but be drawn in to your living presence.  I breathed it in, let it settle in my soul, and I drank from the well of living water.

Every time I sit in your church you bless me with some gift beyond your living presence and when I leave upon the conclusion of the service, I often forget to say thank you.

Thank you,
Gracious God,
for the gift
of your church.
Thank you
for the joy,
hope, comfort,
and peace
I found tonight.
Thank you,
thank you,
thank you.

Love, Andrea
