Dearest God,

Pilgrimage, a journey to the center of eternity, the place of God, the star of faith.  My covenant group left this morning for our yearly pilgrimage, this time to Christ in the Desert Monastery.  Our hearts were soaring, our souls yearning, our devotion piqued for such a time with you and one another.

As we entered the air space over New Mexico, I thought of you, how many former times I have been led to this place of surrender, worship, silence, grace, and love.  I felt blessed and blessing as I sat with my spiritual friends.

As we renewed our fellowship having been gone from each other for many months, I let my tears of joy overflow remembering your grace to us as a pilgrim group devoted to you, one another, and to the world.

Thank you,
Loving God.
Thank you
for your
living presence
among us.
Thank you
for retreat,
for silence,
and for reflection.
We are open.
We are willing.
We are ready.
Come, Lord Jesus, come.

Love always, Andrea
