Dear God,
Your will, your way, your work. These were the words that came to me this morning. Your will, O Lord, your way and your work. As we come to recognize your living presence in our midst, you ask us to be attentive to what you want to do in our lives and in those around us. Sometimes you ask us to stand aside as you work to create healing and wholeness.
As we draw nearer and nearer to you by faith, we learn to seek your will above all else. We know you know more than we. We know your light shines at the center and your love abides always. As we seek your will, we look for your way of doing things. We don't try to counsel you as to what to do. Rather, we grow silent, listening for your word. As we hear the word, we trust you to teach us, to guide us. It is then we have the privilege of watching your work in progress.
Thank you
for walking
in our midst.
Thank you
for your kindness
and compassion.
Thank you
for including us
in your
healing work.
Love, Andrea
