Dear God,

There is no better time to trust you than when we find ourselves "caught in the middle," that time when we are neither in Good Friday nor Resurrection Sunday.  It is the time of twilight, not totally dark but not yet light.  It is the place of doubt, uncertainty, and fear.  When is there a better opportunity to lean back into the arms of the Almighty?

Some much of life is lived in the middle.  Sometimes it is okay, other times not.  It is uncomfortable.  We almost feel like we have lost our way and can't find our way out.  Our resources seem far off at the resurrection which, of course, we are not sure yet exists.  In that state of heart, mind, and soul, we turn to you...and...joyously find you waiting.

O Holy One,
great lover
of the lost,
thank you
for your
kind and
loving presence.
Thank you
for middle times
that nudge us
toward you.
Thank you
for blessings
that rise up
in the middle.

Love, Andrea
