Dear God,

Bless you, O Lord, for you are filling my soul with joy.  As I sit to read my devotional materials, I feel so happy sitting among writers who know you, who tell their stories, and share them with others.
The saints, gospel writers, and a pastor lead me to faith every morning.  They awaken me to the fresh, new day and set me on a path toward joy.

I didn't always have a thirst for reading devotions.  I could never quite make it a natural habit; however, something has shifted.  That shift is you.  You have changed me and given me a hunger for the stories of faith and I am drinking them in.

for sacred beauty,
for rich stories
of faith.
Thank you,
O Lord,
who transform us,
our minds,
our hearts,
and our souls.
You are God;
there is none
like you.
