Dear God,

You warm our hearts toward you.  You fill our souls with desire for you.  You give us a hunger and thirst for you.  You do this because you want to bless us with sweet heavenly faith.

I know I have said it before but I am saying it again.  You have given me a passion for reading my devotions each morning.  You have set me in the middle of wonderful writers, gospel writers, saints, and spiritual storytellers. Each morning when I sit with them, I feel I am sitting beside the most beautiful waterfall.  I feel peace, contentment, and joy.

You give us so many opportunities to draw close, O Lord.  You show us the way to eternity's kind of love.  You urge us to take the path that always leads home.  You know what can happen to us and what joy we can find.  And when we take that path, we are never disappointed.

Blessed are you,
God of Grace.
You give
so many
good gifts.
You breathe
your life
into us
and we
cannot praise you enough.
