Dear God,

When we don't know what to do, we lean to you for help, comfort and guidance.  We are not disappointed.

This is the time for me to lean on you.  Learning our home is uninhabitable because a chipmunk ran free for weeks before my return has been so disconcerting.  Discovering a teeny tiny clause in our insurance that states no destruction from animals is covered in our policy was even more disturbing.  As I have worked to find trained professionals to clean absolutely everything in drawers, cabinets, closets and every space, I have had to live out of my car, just sleeping at night at one of my daughter's homes.  I try to spend every moment I can with grandchildren but it has had to be in their own homes.  Requested to perform a memorial service for a close friend whose mother died has further stressed my already stressed-out, bone weary self.  All I really want to do is cry.

Then I turn to you and I am held.

Blessed Lord,
thank you
for your kindness.
Thank you
for your peace.
Thank you
for your comfort.
You are God;
truly, there is
none like you.

Love always, Andrea
