Dear God,
Memories of your grace flooded my soul today, Gracious God. I saw a Facebook page of a former parishioner and I thought of you. I remember her plight, her worries, anxieties and fears. She needed a job. She hoped for a life partner and children. She prayed, trusting in you.
I remember how the job came to her. I remember when a special man asked her out and finally asked her to marry him. I married them on Good Friday, a sign of light in the darkness. I remember when she conceived and celebrated the birth of her son. I remember when he fell ill and was hospitalized. I remember how she prayed, trusting in you.
Although I see bits and pieces of her story shared online, what I read through the lines is your story, your love, your mercy, your grace, your help, your guidance, your strength and her faith.
Thank you,
Holy God,
for Missy.
Thank you
for her faith,
her love
for you
and for
all her gifts.
Thank you
for prayer,
trust and determination.
Love always, Andrea
