Dear God,

Remember, every Sunday we remember the cross, the crucifixion and the resurrection of Jesus.  We remember, declare our faith and then eat the supper of love.  When I eat the symbols of faith, I do remember Jesus and sense the greatness of his mercy and grace.  Why me?  I ask.  Why me?  I am not a saint but a sinner of so many sins.  I do not always live the life of faith.  Yet, your merciful love counts me as one of your own.  How do you do it, Kind God?

Once I eat the meal myself, I then offer it to those who come to the altar.  What a privilege, what a sacred, holy offering.  But I am blessed, they are blessed, we are all blessed.  And so, we come a week later and do it all over again.

Thank you,
Holy Father,
for the gift
of your
great compassion.
No one
loves us
like you.
Thank you,
thank you,
thank you.

Love always, Andrea
