Dear God,

I put you on the back burner.  I have been so busy with so many responsibilities I failed to sit with my circle of friends in my devotional reading.  I am sorry.

It is so easy to forget our commitments to you and one another.  We allow our own worlds to become something less than they should be and I hate that.  I failed...again.

Holy God,
please forgive me
for failing
to put you first.
Help me
sort out
my days
and put you
at the top.

for grace.
