Dear God,

I hear love's song even though I am not listening to the radio, television or any other communication device.  I hear it in the deep recesses of my heart.  Where does this song come from?  None other than your heart, O God.

Although we try daily to fill ourselves with music, that sound is temporary, ever-changing and filled with announcements, advertisements and messages.  It is always someone else's message to motivate us to do something like buy, mortgage or change something that involves filling someone's pocket.  The music of eternity is the simple message of love, no cost, no charge, no commitment.

All Advent season my heart has dwelled in the music of faith.  My smile has widened all season long.  My soul has been content, my mind at rest.  I am full, truly filled with you.

Blessed God,
this season
has been full
of the fruit
of your spirit.
I have dined
at your table.
I have dwelled
in your home.
I am full.
