Dear God,

There is something about cleaning my house that speaks to me of cleaning up my life, my thoughts, my anger and my intolerance.  Not only my outer house needs cleansing but also my inner.

I am always amazed at the ways you communicate with us.  You take the smallest, ordinary things and use them as teaching moments.  You always want to better our lives.  You want us to shift and move to better ways of being.  You want us to follow your will.  You want to bless and inspire us.  You want to change and transform us.

More often than not, it is not great visions in the sky that whisper truths to us.  It is the small things, ordinary things that give voice to faith and transformation.  

Help us

pay attention

to the here

and now,

Help us

return to you.
