Dear God,

When we listen to the music of faith, we find calm in a chaotic world.  When we sing the music of faith, we add our voice and become faith in that same chaos.  We become the face and sound of faith.

Faith does not mean making everyone believe as we do.  Faith does not mean demanding others to be like us.  Faith is not condemning others because they do not believe, practice or behave as we do.  

Faith is trusting God to be greater than we.  Faith is loving as we are constantly loved by our creator.  Faith is being patient and kind and compassionate to all types and kinds of people.  Faith is letting love have the final word.

Lead us,

Word of God,

lead us

to love.

Make us love.

Fill us

with faith

to love

one another,

we pray.
