Dear God,

Love comes in many shades, colors and shapes.  You created love to connect us together.  You show us your love and invite us to love one another.  Perhaps it is a gift or a smile or a kind gesture but love that is offered is love shared.  If I show love to someone else, that person can be enabled to reach out in love to another.  That is your way, O God.

When love comes our way, help us recognize it not only as human love but divine love as well.  For all love is made by you.  We all need it desperately; without it we will not survive.  

Let love thrive

in us,

dear Father.

Fill us

with your love

to overflowing

so we

can overflow

to others.

Help us 

spill love over

to all.
