Dearest God,

Today I pulled together the colorful vegetables, tomatoes, green onions, garlic, cucumbers, several varieties of peppers, cilantro, and marjoram.  Just seeing them sitting on the counter brought a big smile to my face as I acknowledged you as the power of growth.  As I chopped and chopped the ingredients for my zesty salsa, I gave thanks not only for the fruits of your labor but also for the fine eating they will provide this winter when the snow flies.

Is there anything you do not have your hand upon, O God?  As I can and preserve, I realize every fruit and vegetable has your stamp, your fingerprint.  Without your water, your sunshine, your warm temperatures, and your soil, there would be nothing...no thing!

Thank you,
Loving God,
for a
keen awareness
of your
many gifts.
Thank you
for the privilege
of saying
thank you.

Love always, Andrea
