Dearest God,
You are persistent, constantly reminding us of your loving presence, your challenge, and your desire for our lives. You are God; there is none like you.
It was odd but not really. I was working in the woods, dumping dirt, raking it, spreading grass seed, fertilizer, and straw, and then watering all the while I was thinking negative thoughts. Then I would stop, look up, and say, "That is bitterness talking!" Although I continued my behavior, I finally had to laugh. It was like a hand on my shoulder each time I would say something that was beneath the kind of behavior you expect from a woman of faith.
It is remarkable just how much you love us!
Good and Gracious God,
thank you
for teaching me
how to
follow you.
Please forgive
my erring ways.
Love, Andrea
