Dear God,

Those who are drawn by love to service to others is a person who loves you.  You put that love inside the human heart.  You inspire people to reach out in love to show your tender care in action.

Pope Francis loves you.  The love you placed in his heart is large and contagious.  He does not keep his love stored away.  He loves others.

As I gaze upon a picture of him looking up with a laughing smile on his face, the light shining bright, and his hand raised to bless, to give, and to love, I can't help but remember love is the only way to hope, peace, and compassion. 

Make us
a people
of love,
Holy Father.
Make us
a people
of mercy.
Make us
a people
of peace,
I beg you.
