Dear God,
What keeps us from loving one another? Is it ideology, culture, religion, perspective, economic status, injustice, what, Lord? Are we so narrow, blind, and arrogant that we refuse to give others a chance at being loved by us?
Whenever I look terror in the face, I remember Mary and her baby. I remember love at its best, the light shining in the darkness, hope coming to life.
I want to love like Mary.
Holy Father,
teach us
how to love.
Rid us
of obstacles
that keep us
from loving
one another.
Help us
reach out.
Love, Andrea
