Dear God,

We seek your Word in all things, in nature, in scripture, in song, in prayer, and in silence.  We want to know your word for daily living.  We want to follow your will.  We seek your face.  We want to hear from you.  We want to be near you.

As we awaken to each new day, we long to rise with you.  We want to start a fresh new day with you anticipating we will experience your loving presence and walk with you through our daily tasks, activities, and issues.  We search for meaning and value all about us.  In a bird's song we hear your song, a song of love, hope, and mercy.  In bible passages we recognize the challenge to be transformed and to transform the world with compassion and care.  In silence we wait to meet you in some intimate way realizing the deep blessing that is ours, not only for ourselves but to share with others.

We seek your Word because there is no greater Word than yours, O Lord!

Blessed Lord,
thank you
for new beginnings.
Thank you
for your Word
made flesh.
Thank you
for surprises
all day long.

Love, Andrea
