Dear God,

We need to anticipate your beauty displayed every day.  We need to awaken to each new day and begin to search for beauty all around us.  We need to be beauty for others.

Today I went to WalMart.  There just a few feet away was an elderly woman, a greeter for the chain store.  She was smiling, wearing black and a bright yellow vest.  I couldn't help myself.  I walked up to her and told her she looked like a beautiful, bright sunflower.  Her eyes were bright when she said, "I want to be sunshine for others."  I assured her she was.

Simple things in life can offer us great beauty if we are looking for it.  But we can also be unexpected beauty for those who least expect it from us.
