Dear God,

Gifts, you give us gifts all the time.  The natural world alone provides rich treasures every day.  Add family, friends, home, medical professionals, job and so much more, we are truly rich in gifts.

But what are gifts really?  Do I appreciate every gift?  Absolutely but it is not the gift as much as what the gift does.  The gift always takes me back to you.  Hope is wonderful but the fact you gave it ushers me to your side.  Family who loves me reveals your great love for me and the whole of the human population.  Food and home automatically transport me to you who gives spiritual food and home.  Every gift circles back to you for which I am exceedingly grateful!
