Dear God,
Rain is falling on the emerald green grass just outside my study. Soaking deep into the thirsty soil, I am longing for a long drink myself of living water, the kind that goes deep down into places I didn't know were parched. As I sit here, I reflect upon the picture before me and take solace.
Nothing is lost on you, Living God. You give us scene after scene of healing waters. If we pause long enough, allow faith to open us up and we are thirsty enough, pictures will appear leading us to quenching wells. This is just such a day.
Thank you,
Holy One,
for the gift
of your
Holy Spirit.
This morning
I am drinking
from your hand.
I am blessed
by such love.
Yours, Andrea
